Built by two guys who
refused to feel terrible.
A chance meeting in Hawaii. A frustration with broken healthcare. A Nobel Prize-winning technology nobody was talking about.
Rivals in paradise.
Partners for life.
Justin and Michael were never supposed to be partners. They were competitors at a trade show in Honolulu — both convinced their own approach was right.
Then the show floor closed, everyone ended up at the same beach bar, and somewhere between rounds they realized they shared one frustration: the most powerful wellness technologies in the world were locked behind walls most people couldn't get through.
Light therapy entered both their lives separately. Mike had a chronic lower back issue. Justin had a rotator cuff his doctors said he'd "just have to live with." Red light therapy changed both of their lives.
They got on a call. "Did you know a Nobel Prize was awarded for this in 1903?" Neither had a good answer for why nobody knew. So they decided to do something about it.
The faces behind
the glow
Justin has spent over a decade in wellness and health technology, always asking: why do the best treatments cost the most and help the fewest? A chronic back issue became his catalyst. After experiencing red light therapy firsthand, he became obsessed with making it accessible to everyone.
Michael comes from sports recovery and product development. A shoulder injury led him to red light therapy and a humbling discovery: this had been around since 1903, won a Nobel Prize, and he'd never heard of it. He made it his mission to change that.
Quality over quantity.
Every time.
Mike fixed his back. Justin fixed his shoulder. Then we asked — why does everyone else have to suffer without knowing this exists? A Nobel Prize was awarded for this in 1903. NASA uses it. The Arthritis Foundation endorses it. Most people have never heard of it. BioGlow exists to fix that.
